A necklace with a photo takes that picture out of the phone and gives it a place where it can be worn. We engrave your own photo on the front of a round pendant. You see a free design draft before you order.

What the pendant looks like

The pendant is round and 16 mm in diameter. The picture is engraved directly in the metal on the front. On the back we can engrave a text: a name, a date or a few words. Engraving on both the front and the back is included.

You choose gold or silver. You can buy the pendant on its own or with a chain and gift box. We engrave and pack the piece in Denmark.

The necklace can be for you, or for someone you love.

Picture on the front, words on the back

The picture shows who it is about. The back can say the rest. A name and a year. The date the picture was taken. A nickname only the two of you use. Or three lines you write yourself.

Photo or Line-art

Your picture can be engraved in two ways.

Photo necklace. We prepare the picture so the main features stand out clearly in the engraving. This is the way that stays closest to the photo you send.

Line-art necklace with your picture. We redraw your photo as one soft line. The result is simpler: a contour, a profile, two people holding each other.

Who can be in the picture?

It can be a person you love. A child, a grandparent, a friend, or the two of you together.

It can also be a pet. For the dog, the cat and the horse we have pendants with a photo of their own, and the horse is also available as Line-art.

Some pictures show a person or an animal who is no longer here. Then the necklace becomes memorial jewellery. Something to touch when you miss them.

If you have a child's drawing instead of a photo, you will find it under necklace with a drawing. We engrave a small footprint or handprint on a superellipse pendant.

How to order a necklace with your own picture

Choose photo or Line-art.
On the product page, add your picture. It is free and needs no account.
Write the text for the back, if you would like one. There is room for three lines.
See your draft. If you would like something changed, write to us with your design ID, and we will make a new one.
Order when you are happy with the draft.

Questions about necklaces with a photo

How much does a necklace with a photo cost?

The price of the pendant is shown on the product page, including VAT. Engraving of the picture on the front and the text on the back is included. You can add a chain and gift box, and the price for the set is on the product page.

Can the picture sit inside the pendant, like in a locket?

No. We engrave the picture directly on the front of the pendant, so it can always be seen. The back can carry a text.

Can I see the piece before I order?

Yes. You add your picture on the product page and see a free design draft before you order. No account is needed. If you are unsure whether the picture is good enough, add it anyway. The draft shows how it will look on the pendant. If you would like something changed, write to hej@oendig.dk with your design ID and what should change, and we will make a new one.

What can go on the back?

A personal text of up to three lines, for example a name, a date or a short message. It is included. You can also leave the back blank.

How big is the pendant, and how long is the chain?

The pendant is round and 16 mm in diameter. The chain comes in 43 cm or 48 cm, both with a 5 cm extender. You choose gold or silver.

When will I get the necklace?

We engrave and pack the piece in Denmark.
