Terms and conditions
These terms apply to orders you place through the English pages of oendig.com, including orders for Norway. Please read them before you order.

1. Who we are
You enter into the contract with:
- Øndig Jewellery ApS
- Hyldevang 2, 7323 Give, Denmark
- CVR (Danish business register) no. 43282980
- VAT no. DK43282980
- Email: hej@oendig.dk
Our website is oendig.com. The checkout and order handling run on our shop system at oendig.dk. The easiest way to reach us is by email.
2. Our products and your design
We sell necklaces and pendants. Each piece is personally engraved in Denmark to the design you make. You can buy chains and gift boxes with them.
You make your design in our online editor. You can use a motif, a drawing, a photo, a fingerprint or text. Before you order, you can save a free design draft.
The preview shows how your piece will look. There may be small differences between the preview and the finished piece. Engraving on metal can look different from a screen, and screens show colours differently.
You are responsible for having the right to use the motif, drawing, photo or text you send us. We may refuse content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others. If we refuse, we tell you and refund what you have paid.
3. Prices and VAT
Prices on our English pages are shown in euro, and for Norway in Danish kroner (DKK). All prices include VAT at the rate applicable to your order. If you order for delivery outside the EU VAT area, no VAT is charged, and the price at checkout is shown without VAT (see below).
Delivery costs €5 including VAT. Delivery is free from €99. For orders for Norway, which are paid in Danish kroner (DKK), delivery costs 39 DKK including VAT and is free from 749 DKK.
The delivery methods available for your country and their costs are shown at checkout before you place your order.
Orders outside the EU VAT area
If you order for delivery to a country outside the EU VAT area (for example Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland or a Balkan country outside the EU), import VAT, customs duties and carrier fees may be charged on delivery. The recipient pays these to the carrier. If the piece is a gift, please let the recipient know.
Norway is an exception. Orders for Norway are paid in Danish kroner (DKK). Next to the price we also show an approximate amount in Norwegian kroner, for example 595 DKK (approx. 829 NOK); you always pay the amount in DKK. The price includes 25 % Norwegian VAT, which we collect at checkout under the VOEC scheme (VOEC no. 3057712), so nothing extra is charged on delivery.
4. Ordering and the contract
You design your piece in the editor, add it to your basket and place your order at checkout.
Before you place your order, you can check your order and correct your details. You place your order with the ‘Order with obligation to pay’ button.
The contract is formed when we send you the order confirmation by email. These terms are available on this page at any time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown when you placed it. We also attach them as a PDF to your order confirmation email, together with the withdrawal information and the model withdrawal form.
5. Payment
You can pay with the methods shown at checkout, for example payment cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We charge no card fees.
The amount is reserved when you place your order. It is only charged when we dispatch your order. Until then it has not been charged, but you cannot use it for other payments.
Our payment service providers handle your payment. We never see or store your full card number.
6. Engraving, delivery and risk
We engrave and pack orders on working days. We deliver to the countries you can choose at checkout. We send your order as a parcel you can track. After dispatch, you receive a tracking link by email.
Delivery usually takes 4–7 working days after dispatch. Outside larger towns it can take up to 2–3 working days longer. This time is guidance, not a fixed date.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the parcel.
If you refuse to accept a parcel, this does not count as a withdrawal unless you also tell us that you are withdrawing.
7. Cancelling before engraving
You can cancel your order before we engrave it, but only in writing: by email to hej@oendig.dk, or by message to us on Instagram or Messenger. Please include your order number.
Your cancellation is valid once we have confirmed in writing that we read it before your order was dispatched.
If your cancellation is valid, you pay nothing. We release the reserved amount, or we refund in full anything that has been charged.
This section does not limit your right of withdrawal for items without a personal engraving. See section 8.
8. Right of withdrawal
There is no right of withdrawal for pieces with a personal engraving, because they are made to your specifications (EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, article 16(c)).
For items without a personal engraving you have the right to withdraw within 14 days, without giving a reason. The period ends 14 days after the day you, or a person you name (not the carrier), receive the parcel.
If you withdraw, you pay the direct cost of returning the item to us.
The full information, the effects of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form are on our withdrawal page.
9. Faulty items (legal guarantee)
If an item has a defect, you have the rights the law gives you. You can complain for at least 2 years from delivery.
Depending on the case, you can have the item repaired or replaced, get a price reduction, or get a refund.
Tell us within a reasonable time after you find the defect. If you tell us within 2 months of finding it, you are always in time.
Write to hej@oendig.dk. Send the item back well packed, with a description of the problem. Keep the receipt for the postage.
If your complaint is justified, we refund your reasonable costs of returning the item.
EU notice on the legal guarantee
This is the European Union’s harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960).

10. Personal data
We process your personal data as described in our privacy policy. It explains what data we collect, why, who receives it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
11. Complaints and disputes
If you are not satisfied, please contact us first at hej@oendig.dk. We will try to solve the problem with you.
If we cannot agree, you can complain as a consumer to:
- Center for Klageløsning
- Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2
- 8800 Viborg, Denmark
- www.forbrug.dk
If you live in another EU country, you can also use the European Commission’s site Consumer Redress in the EU, which lists the dispute resolution bodies.
You can also get free help from the European Consumer Centre in your own country (ECC-Net): European Consumer Centres Network.
12. Applicable law
Danish law applies to these terms and to your order. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence.
The contract language is English.
