Right of withdrawal
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Pieces with a personal engraving
There is no right of withdrawal for pieces with a personal engraving. They are made to your specifications and are clearly personalised. Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, article 16(c), the right of withdrawal does not apply to such goods.
Personalised jewellery is jewellery that we make specially for you, for example by engraving a motif, a drawing, a photo, a fingerprint or text. It is made only for you, so we cannot sell it to anyone else.
Please check your design carefully before you order. You can save a free design draft first. Cancelling an order before we engrave it is a different matter: see section 7 of our terms.
Items without a personal engraving
For an item without a personal engraving you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day you take physical possession of the goods. The same applies if a third party you name takes possession. The carrier does not count as that third party.
If you ordered several items in one order and they are delivered separately, the period ends 14 days after the day you, or the person you named, receive the last item.
You cannot withdraw by refusing to accept the parcel. If you refuse a parcel, you must also tell us that you are withdrawing.
How to withdraw
To use your right of withdrawal, you must tell us of your decision to withdraw with a clear statement. You can do this:
- by email to hej@oendig.dk, with your order number
- by post to Øndig Jewellery ApS, Hyldevang 2, 7323 Give, Denmark
You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your statement before the withdrawal period ends.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, we refund all payments we have received from you. This includes the cost of standard delivery. It does not include extra costs if you chose a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery we offer.
We refund without undue delay, and at the latest 14 days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. We use the same payment method as you used for the order, unless you agree otherwise. You pay no fees for the refund.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back, or until you have shown proof that you sent it back, whichever happens first.
Send the item back to Øndig Jewellery ApS, Hyldevang 2, 7323 Give, Denmark. Do this without undue delay, and at the latest 14 days after the day you told us about your withdrawal. You meet the deadline if you send the item before the 14 days have passed.
You pay the direct cost of returning the item.
You are only liable for a loss in value of the item that comes from handling beyond what is needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. You may try it on as you would in a shop, but please do not use it beyond that. If you handle it more than that, we may deduct the loss in value from your refund.
Withdrawing from part of an order
If you ordered several items, you can return one or more of them, even if you bought them in one order. If you keep part of the order, we do not refund the delivery cost.
Orders for Norway
If you live in Norway, personalised goods are also excluded from the right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven § 22 e). For items without a personal engraving, you have the same 14-day right of withdrawal as described above.
